How did I get Here?

Ever since I was young I have been artistic and crafty with a strong desire to solve the problems around me. As I got older, I developed an interest in helping others with my problem solving abilities and decided to pursue a degree in health sciences. However, after working in the medical field I quickly learned that my passion for design and solving creative problems was not being utilized to the extent I needed. Every day I felt like I wasn’t able to showcase the technical skills I possessed, which led me to a necessarycareer change.

I looked inward and researched to discover UX/UI Design, a profession that incorporates my loves for design, psychology, problem solving and helping others. Ever since then I dove full force into design immediately applying to the accelerated User-Centered Design Masters program at Brandeis never looking back.

Now that I am following my passion, I am always eager to learn more about various softwares, coding and latest design trends. Being an educated young adult experienced in marketing, design, social media, advertising, professional research, psychology and more, I truly have all the facets to be an impactful modern designer, and If given the opportunity, I would love to show you this firsthand.
